and when finished..
to be finished..
Im really enjoying doing these! I wish i had expirimented more all semester.. but better late than never i guess!
Screen print. :)
This was my first time doing screen printing so I was excited to learn something completely new. I was playing around with an image that I thought wouls suit this prosess so I was happy enough to start.
As my project looked into my parents and there masculine and feminine professions I chose to construct an image containing two jobs my mam claims to despise food shopping and the washing I always found the way she deals with it hilarious:). As the brief was humour I combined these in a way I found funny.I chose to use an image containing 4 shopping trollies hanging off the cloths line.
There was alot of colours (9 to be exact) so we figured out a cool way of speeding my process up a bit.
4 in 1:
I just had to control the coulurs so they didnt blend too bad.
All in all i loved this process it was fun :)

I did it all layer by layer and made a few mistakes along the way with exposure so I had to just do what i could with the regestration problems.
The dots on the bed came through on a couple. I know it wasnt meant to happen but i quite liked it. :)
Some of the colours merged. kinda rainbow-ish
On my first attempt I didnt have the right colours and couldnt get my pressure right.
In the end I printed one or two with no greys in the trollies.. this may have worked better..
Final expirimented with prints.
